I was thinking about the under hood temps and was considering removing the rubber seal that is at the rear of the hood on the fire wall. I was considering removing some if not all of it so it would allow hot air to flow over the top of the engine and over the windshield. From what I under stand, that seal is to keep the temps down to protect the plastic cowl grills and to keep the fresh air that you suck in, not engine hot. How I was thinking of modding was to remove the rubber seal about 10 inches from the drivers side towards the center and the same on the passanger side. Also, slightly modify the cowl grill on the passanger side b/c it sticks out over the battery. I think this would be a good mod. Anyone agree?
